So many holes I've make this week , digging up sad plants . Tiny bits of orange and red here. Those drum stick Alliums ...they do get knocked about . Lots of seelfseeding ...but white. |
More Alliums , bare soil , messy Knifofia , At least the Ceanothus isn't blooming BLUE ! |
I revamped three or four garden beds this past late winter that just weren't working for me. Much better now. It's always something. Gardening is a learning experience, no matter how long you've been doing it. I'm looking forward to seeing how you rework this area. It sounds like you need some drought-tolerant plants there.
ReplyDeleteAlison, I think you're right, a trip to the Xera plant is in order!
DeleteWe gardeners never seem happy with our gardens! Been hearing a lot in the news lately about securing our borders and illegal border crossing. Nice that gardening is getting some media time!
ReplyDeletePeter, My border looks lick a heavily trampled illegal border crossing !
ReplyDeleteAh, I'm so jealous of your Robinia!
ReplyDeleteI spotted that 'twist baby' right away, it's fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHeather, Lori, From my local Y&G land, one left !
ReplyDeleteIt's that time of year when things begin to look a little tired. I try to look selectively (rather than actually doing anything about it...too hot).
