Aitken's Salmon Creek Garden

These Miniature drawf  Iris  are the first to bloom , usually April fools day ...  a day early this year .

Tiny ... only about 6 in tall , not so easy to photograph .

I didn't  take note of any of the names ...

Euphorbia characias 'wulfenii '

I've been posting photos of my spring blooms . How could I ignore the Euphorbia 

It was  one of the first plants I introduced into my garden. It loves this dry sunny  place

Over the years I've let them self seed ... then I have a huge cull . Usually when they start looking  scrappy.

Seem to be quite a few these days...

...they appear in the most unexpected places....
