Aha! Now I get the 'whatsit'. I know...not too swift on the uptake. I saw those giant Tetrapanax leaves that had turned white used in a vase and they were stunning.
ReplyDeleteYes Ricki , the "whatsit'", if I thought I'd be blogging for this long , I would have chosen another title probably.
DeleteLove that Euphorbia, and *want* that I Sophora microphylla 'sun king' very badly! I can't believe your Amsonia is coloring up already...
ReplyDeleteLori, I think it's Euphorbia 'Flame' , it self seeded into another pot. Sometimes those overwintering plants do that. I thought You had the Sophora, when I looked on 'PlantLust' it had your photo !
DeleteI can't believe your leaves are changing already! My Amsonia never gets that lovely russet coloring :-(
ReplyDeleteScott, Don't rub it in...yes autumn in Vancouver ! actually it was like this when I bought it!
DeleteYou have the coolest plants, Linda! I love that variegated whatsit sedum. I had no idea Tetrapanax leaves turn white! They are magnificent!
ReplyDeleteLoving the phormium 'Apricot Queen'! What a complex color combo!
ReplyDeleteSorry I've been away from your blog for so long. I love your foliage Linda. That Euphorbia is a stunner and I love the phormium/sedum combo. Very cool!
