How handy to have this editing option : going from color to B&W , back to color . So, here are the same photos in color . Not a lot of color , plenty of green with just a few dabs here and there. Since all the Agastache seem to have parished this winter , I'm left with mostly blues, pinks and yellow . |
Thank you! I love these photos. Your garden is a wonderland of paths and plants. I love that feeling of not knowing what's around the corner. If it's any consolation, I've lost almost every single Agastache I've ever grown. Oddly I have a few survivors of last winter's arctic madness. But I guess my soil is too wet for them. But never mind. Your garden looks fabulous even without them.
ReplyDeleteGrace, It's sods law that we are entering "El Nino" again! I 've finally gave in and planted A. 'Golden jubilee' , more for the chartreuse foliage than blooms.
DeleteJust the right amount of color for my taste. I found Kingsbury's slides a bit garish, how about you?
ReplyDeleteRicki, I need green framing each patch of color. Saying that I love all that Oudolf planting. I just can't see myself with a flame torch or brush cutter .
