Oh how I look forward to my first bulb delivery, especially when it comes from'Old house gardens'. I only order a few things , this year : Red spider Lily, surprise Lily , oxblood Lily and Byzantine gladiolus . All new to me ! I thought I'd have a departure from my usual Tulip craze. |
Love the sense of adventure that leads you to experiment with new things!
ReplyDeleteRicki, I'm slightly concerned about the " be patient" on the planting instruction for the Lycoris .
DeleteYou will love them every one.
ReplyDeleteJean, Haven't you posted Lycoris on your blog ? That's probably where I've seen them , and wanted them !
DeleteLove the personal note on the invoice.
ReplyDeleteMindy, They write a note every year . It's one of the reasons I keep ordering from them ; and the great bulbs !
DeleteOh, Byzantine gladiolus! I've seen pictures of them, but didn't know where t o buy them online. I tried oxblood lilies several years ago up here near Tacoma, but they never showed up.
ReplyDeleteAlison , I always forget to order these for autumn planting rather than spring , but not this year.I only bought one , it's a bit expensive , but I've heard it' s a good multiplier.
DeleteThis looks like a wonderful grower to check out! I love how you find the coolest things!
