I have those days too. More of them, actually, than the ones that end in a tidy result to be proud of. What Ricki said - your garden looks wonderful. I wonder about your Acacia dealbata... Did it survive the winter? When I dug mine up, it looked like a Pompeii corpse - all knarly, curled up, and burned to a crisp. It didn't even survive its first birthday....
Anna, Both my Acacias …dead , dead ,dead ; just the stumps left . I've planted two new replacement trees this year : cercidiphyllum-japonicum-pendulum, Podocarpus salignus …hardy I hope .
That wheelbarrow or "yard cart" as they called them back in the day, is fabuloso! I know what you mean about the plant detritus piling up. Boy don't I know! Love the artichoke/cardoon in the background. It's surprising how well they did through the winter.
Cool wheelbarrow. I'm going to need several days like that. Things look mighty fine in that first shot.
ReplyDeleteLooks like cooler weather this week for a good clear out !
