My drawf mondo lawn is thickening up . |
So much of this about |
These Carex are moving this year , they looked a mess all summer. |
More messy Carex |
A big clump of Stachys which will get good racking over. It thins it out as well. |
The dreaded chopping down of this one ....maybe next warm day. |
I loved the picture of the back corner with the sunlight streaking in. It gives me hope spring will eventually arrive.

I was hoping so too, but it's raining today !
DeleteWe had one perfectly beautiful spring day today and I HAD TO WORK! We went to a restaurant with an outside patio just to be outside. Tonight storms are moving in again and it will rain all day tomorrow - on my day off!
DeleteI'm sorry! It's " Sods law ".
DeleteI kind of gave up on Carex last summer...they just DID NOT do well in that hot, dry weather, unfortunately :-(
ReplyDeleteI would too, if I didn't have so many . They self seed every where and I can't be bothered to pull them out.
DeleteThey are useful in the winter though, if I only went out more to enjoy them.
