There was a house at the end of my block on the side street that would do up the house and yard for EVERY holiday. It was never in a tasteful way, only in an excessive "too much is never enough" sort of way. I used to hate the painted wood cut-outs, Costco inflatable decorations and complain about the eyesore hodgepodge of lights you could land a plane by.
About a year ago the lady that lived there passed away, the family moved out, and the house has just been sitting there empty. In a way, I kind of miss the excessive decorations now and wish it were back.
of course not
ReplyDeleteI don't know about you but we have enough gigantic spider webs (the real kind) that we don't need Halloween decorations.
