September in the garden

September in the garden before it is  October . I had to look through my plant list to find Dendranthema weyrichii 'white bomb' . Such an  great ground cover ,

I've been planting around pennisetum spathiolatum . I love them so much  that I've been  pulling  everything out to accommodate these whopping great clumps .

This time of year I can hardly find my paths

More holes !  Inula Orientalis is a very thirsty plant , which likes to take a huge space . And looks sad after blooming in my garden .  Replaced by clumps of Helenium  for now.
