Erthroniums just past it's best , but taking over are the little yellow blooms of Epimedium lishihchenii |
Soloman seal and Carex 'Bowles gold' |
Aruncus and Pyrrosia and more Beesia |
A baby Tetrapanex I transplanted last year |
A nice fat clump of Syneilesis with Beesia and many wild strawberries. |
Still some holes , but I see Rogersia and a few Hosta's coming on fast. Rosie still finds room to do her business. |
So lovely! I need to add bessias to my garden ASAP. Rosie has quite a paradise to kick around in.
ReplyDeleteLaura, I just noticed how I spelled Though ! Oh well. I'll bring a Beesia to the swap.
DeleteDivine digs you have there.
ReplyDeleteYour shade gardens are lovely and so full of special plants, Linda. I'm developing several since I noticed I don't have to fight many weeds in the shade. I'm wondering what the plant is in the bottom right of the 5th photo, and middle of 6th photo, with the dark chevrons on the leaves. The only plants I know with chevrons are Persicaria?
ReplyDeleteThank you Hannah, It's Persicaria ' red dragon'...I think. I got it last year , at the plant swap , It was just a small piece , now look at it !
Deleteyour garden as a dense jungle is full of freshness. It evokes wonderful spring feeling.
