Paulownia tomentosa after being given the severe chop a few months ago, making it 's way upward again. I did let this tree grow for three years before trying this out , so far so good. |
Another giant Gunnera Tinctoria just now visable , after being smothered by the sweet woodruff. |
And look what I found , the main trunk of the Paulownia in the shed where I left it months ago..still growing ! It's now in a bucket of water, why not? |
LOVE the Gunnera emerging from the Sweet Woodruff!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it lovely, That woodruff is a goer though .
ReplyDeleteThe bigs: I haven't enough of them.
ReplyDeleteI've seen other people do this with great results and would like to try it with one of my Paulownias but I don't have the guts to chop it down. Your giants look fabulous! Fe fi fo foman, I smell the work of an Englishwoman!
ReplyDeleteI'm beyond excited to see how your pollarded paulownia tomentosa looks this summer. I might imitate you.
