Gone but not forgotten...

Time to say goodbye to my little blue friends. It takes me a good few days to pull them all up.

At this point they start to go all powdery  with mildew .

So out they go till next spring.

And my clothes are covered in seeds.

  1. I bid goodbye to most of ours last week, but new ones keep popping up here and there...just to remind us.

    1. Rickii, I've spotted them as well. I wish I had the energy to dig them up and relocate in the all the right places !

  3. Aren't these sweet? Who could ask for an easier plant? They pop up, bloom and don't so much mind being pulled out, leaving seed for a whole new display next season. I have a few left that haven't come out. So much to do in the garden this time of year!

  4. Pretty, but ugh, what a pesty little plant. I know other beginner gardeners that have either bought unknowingly or been given plants. They soon discover how insidious they are.

  5. Yours look so cool in your garden. I decided to plant a volunteer by my yellow flowering Fleabane and the result was rather nice--two colors I don't typically allow in my garden. Isn't gardening fun? :)
