So the project began, with me pulling out the bricks. Then Philip gave the Muehlenbeckia a good snip round. Then a good grab and out yanked the old liner. |
The two site Managers ever watchful |
This was Philip's expertise, the enlargement of the pond, I did the wheelbarrowing of the soil . |
Now the fitting in of the stocktank ( no more tucking in of pond liner) . This took several attempts, If was getting HOT out! |
Ahhh... |
Much better! What a great way to redo a small pond.
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful! I love that you don't have to worry about pond liner! Your site supervisors are cute as can be sitting on their cushioned chairs!
ReplyDeleteLove it...looks so much better!
ReplyDeleteYou, Phillip and the site managers: what a team!
ReplyDeleteAlison,Scott, Peter and Ricki, We thank you !
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you took that on in this heat but it looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteHeather, We almost had it done before it got unbearable , poor Philip was sweating bullets by the end !
DeleteHi Linda, sorry I've been away so long. Wow. What a transformation. I love your "site managers." They made me chuckle. I know what you mean about working in the heat. Last Sunday after falling through a weak board on our deck, (only my leg was slightly damaged in the fall) my husband and son decided it was time to dismantled and remove the deck. Even my daughters were able to tear themselves away from the Internet for a few hours to help. I know, there is a God! Now we have what looks like a war zone until the new patio is installed. And the heat continues. :) Seeing your "after" photos gives me hope.
ReplyDeleteHi Grace , Glad you're back, Deck dismantling and rebuilding sounds like a much bigger job ? Hopefully it will get cooler next week for you ?
DeleteHaving seen the new pond in person, I can now agree on what an improvement it was over the old one. Good job, Linda and Philip! And thank you again, Linda, for such a nice visit last Friday!
