Euphorbia oblongata...

I had to scan way back to my April photos to find when this one started blooming. It seems to have been at it for ever ; and it has.  I cut it back a month or so ago , and lo and behold , fresh growth and more blooms. And as Euphorbias do ,  seedlings here, there and everywhere .

  1. I think this is the one that pops up everywhere here. I've begun pulling it out but it looks very pretty in your photos.

    1. Could be, I don't mind it popping up in the right places . Seems to be doing that at the moment,

  2. I'm looking for more Euphorbs for my deer, rabbit, and vole infested garden, so I'm interested in this, it looks like E. polychroma but maybe smaller flowers, bigger plant? It seems to fill in very nicely.

    1. Hannah, It looks very similar to polychroma. I've never had polychrome rebloom after cutting back , though. It's taller as well, and evergreen till I cut it back in the spring.

  3. I really like how it draps over your pathway, without really obstructing it. Euphorbia's have great structure.
