| Normally at this time of year, just as the the Panicum 'Sshenandoa' are visiable in the long brick planter , It's time for the brass section , the Euphorbias that is , to stand down , I love the dramatic charteuse bracts as they slowly unfurl in early spring. But by the end of May when eveything is filling in , I know it's it's time ... |

| And all because It rained so much all week , the weight of the plums snapped this limb off . In a panic I visited my local nursery for advice . Their advice was basically not to worry about it ...no need to buy any first aid products . As I was there why not a stroll through the new plant selections , not intending to get anything ...oh no . |

DeleteMy wulfs are all flattened by the rain, but I've been avoiding the big cut-back. Hmmm...you've got me thinking: maybe a replacement that doesn't require all that effort.

ReplyDeleteYour Schefflera taiwaniana looks gorgeous there! The contrast of leaf texture and size with the Tetrapanax is way cool. Impulse buys are so much fun!
